Meals at Tonalea Day School
Tonalea Day School kindergarteners through 8th graders receive daily balanced meals - breakfast and lunch - to aid in their growth and development. Our cafeteria staff works hard to ensure students receive nutritious meals that support them on their educational journey.
Breakfast and lunch will be prepared and eaten within the school cafeteria, and students must follow all school rules while eating:
- No horseplay (e.g. running, shouting, shoving, fighting, throwing food)
- No cutting in line
- No outside teas, sodas, sports drinks (Only water, milk, drinks served in line)
- No electronic devices (Remove all headgear before entering the cafeteria)
Students must enter the cafeteria through the designated entrance and model good behavior at all times. Each student is responsible for cleaning up the area that they use and disposing of their trash/food tray in the designated trash cans.
